Three weeks ago, Erling Haaland scored twice to give Borussia Dortmund a lead in the Champions League round of 16.

On Wednesday, Neymar, Kylian Mbappé and Paris Saint-Germain rallied to advance in the second leg.

After the match, they let Haaland hear all about it.

First, the players gathered on the pitch and did Haaland’s zen goal celebration in unison:

It’s worth noting Neymar did this himself when he scored his first goal.

But the deluge continued in the dressing room, as documented on Mbappé’s Instagram:

Not suffice to stop there, Neymar posted on Instagram himself:

A late red card to Dortmund’s Emre Can for a hard foul on Neymar probably contributed to the tensions lingering well after the final whistle.

Haaland has been phenomenal since he joined Dortmund at the beginning of the January transfer window, and he may have some, shall we say, controversial political leanings. Plus he’s only 19, so it’s natural some more tenured players (although Mbappé is only 21) would want to knock him down a few pegs.

PSG made a point to do that. And for whatever reason, they made it loud and clear.
